I'm building this 3D forest environment with interactive elements, aiming to create a vibrant, scenic world that fits my gnome theme — because, honestly, gnomes are awesome. I set up the models in Blender, adding textures and modifiers to bring everything to life. I also worked on landscaping the terrain and used heatmap painting to control where certain effects and details would show up during rendering. To keep performance smooth, I sampled objects thoughtfully, applied Draco compression, and implemented preloading strategies. This project gave me a great chance to dive deeper into 3D modeling and procedural rendering techniques.
View ProjectA few years ago, I built a 3D portal-based portfolio website using React Three Fiber. The main focus was on scroll animations, immersive backgrounds, lighting, and creating my first 3D models. It was my first time working with Three.js, Blender, and GSAP, and it was a fantastic learning experience. Huge shoutout to ThreeJS Journey and various YouTube tutorials for making that journey possible!
